Add the date and time to your photos
This tool prints the date and time on your photos, like the date stamp of an old film camera. It reads the real date each photo was taken, so every picture gets its own correct date.
It is free, works with many photos at once and runs completely in your browser.
Why use it?
- See at a glance when each photo was taken — great for albums, travel photos and prints.
- Uses the original date taken from the photo, not today’s date.
- Many date formats, 12 or 24-hour time, and an orange retro film style.
- Date a whole folder of photos and download them as one ZIP file.

Frequently asked questions
Will it use the day I took the photo?
Yes, as long as the photo still has its original information (EXIF). Photos straight from a phone or camera almost always do.
Can I change the date?
Yes. Choose Custom under Date and set any date and time.
Does it lower the photo quality?
Choose Best quality when you export to keep the full size.
Can I use iPhone photos?
Yes. When you pick photos on an iPhone, they are normally handed to the website as JPEG automatically.
